Robert Lee and RutheAnn Muir Rabenstein celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. They were married on June 5, 1959, at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington. Born in National to William and Madge Rabenstein, he was raised in Layton, and graduated from Davis High School in 1956. He was a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Department of Defense and retired in 2004.

Born in Salt Lake City, to Orlando and Billie Muir, she was raised in Davis County and graduated Davis High School in 1959. She spent many years as a homemaker and began working at Oakridge County Club in 1985, retiring in 2004.

Bob and Rudy were members of the Layton Jaycees and Jaycettes. He was involved in developing Layton’s Little League football program, which he coached for several years. She was involved in organizing and choreographing the Miss Layton Pageant and the Junior Miss Pageant. As members of the Jaycees and Jaycettes they made many wonderful friendships and helped in coordinating the Fourth of July Riata Days, Easter Egg Hunts and many other community fund raisers and activities for Layton.

They raised their family in Layton and could always be seen either on the sidelines or the bleachers of every football, basketball, softball and baseball game. They sat through countless hours of dance competitions and were always recognized as the most supportive parents! They now enjoy being retired and hosting family gatherings at their home.

Their children are: Bobbi and Billy Huneycutt of Layton, Mitch Rabenstein and fianc^ Barb Norkus of Arizona, Neil and Cherise Rabenstein of Roy and Heidi and Bryan Anderton of Kaysville. They have seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren all of which love and adore them immensely. Happy anniversary to the most amazing parents, grandparents and great-grandparents a family could ever ask for.
