Happy 60th Anniversary!: Charles (Chuck) E. and Constance (Connie) Payne Herrick

Chuck and Connie Herrick are Celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary on March 20, 2019. They were married March 20, 1959.

Connie grew up in Howell, Utah, and graduated from Bear River High School in 1955. She attended Weber College where she earned an Associate of Science degree. Connie spent 39 years working for Intermountain Health Care.

Chuck and Connie were married in Howell, Utah and sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 11, 1964.

Chuck grew up in Southern California and moved to Utah following graduation from Herbert Hoover High School, San Diego, California in 1955. Chuck enlisted in the Utah National Guard, and United States Air Force Reserve in the medical laboratory, having served 28 years prior to retirement. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology in 1977 from Weber State College. Chuck worked for Thiokol for 35 years in Quality Control, Engineering, and the Contamination Control Laboratory.

Following their marriage, they lived in Ogden and moved to Roy, Utah in 1961, where they still reside.

Chuck and Connie are the parents of one daughter, Kristie Ann (Andrew) Pustek, and two granddaughters, Alexa Kristine and Aubree Nicole.

Connie has been involved with crafts, crocheting, embroidery, and ceramic figurines having taught ceramics for several years.

Chuck is an avid woodworker and has built many pieces of furniture. His rocking baby cradle was awarded “Best of Show” at the Utah State Fair in the amateur wood working division.

Connie has served in many callings in the Relief Society; Chuck has served as ward organist for over 10 years.
