Happy 50th Anniversary!: Marv and Sue Pebley

The children of Marv and Sue Pebley, are happy to announce a celebration of their parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were married June 27, 1969, in Uintah, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in The Ogden Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. An Open House in their honor will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at 3628 S. 2700 W. West Haven, UT 84401.

They request no gifts be given as your friendship is all the gift they desire.

Marv was raised in Uintah, Utah. He spent his childhood raising rabbits, chickens and pigeons and riding his horse, Yeller, on the hillsides and flats of Uintah. Sue came to live in Uintah, when her Father retired from the United States Air Force and settled her family there. They met at church and became high school sweethearts as they participated together in dance festivals, plays, programs and band.

They are the proud parents of eleven children: Daughters: Angie (John) Saunders, Jennifer (Blake) Giles, Stephanie (Rusty) Oram, Adriana (David) Giles and Adella (Rick) Corbridge. Sons: Jeremy (Amy), Matt (Cristina), Mitch (Caroline), Tyler (Sheena), Taylor (Cassidy) and Walker. Marv and Sue have 42 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with two more great-grandchildren expected this year.

Long time residents of West Haven, Utah, Marv served many years on the West Haven City Planning Commission and was a successful small business owner for 25 years. Sue was actively involved in PTA and served two years as secretary for the Kanesville Elementary PTA. She retired from the IRS after a 23 year career. Both served in many church callings through the years.

Upon retirement they sold their home of 30 years and built a new home in Collinston, Utah.
