Happy 80th Birthday!: I. Ray Frost

I. Ray Frost celebrated his 80th birthday on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. A family dinner was held at Maddox in his honor. Ray was born to P. Ivan and Edith Hamilton Frost of South Ogden. He graduated from Weber High School, Weber State College with a Bachelor’s degree and the University of Utah with a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

He worked at Hill Air Force Base and the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation as a counselor and later, as the Northern Utah District Director. He also served in the Utah National Guard.

He has been active in many leadership positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He also served as a councilman in Bear River City from 2005- 2012.

He married Barbara Cook in 1955 and they raised six children: Scott, Cindy, Tim, Kip, Mitch and Adam.

Ray and Barbara have enjoyed their travels to several states and countries after their retirement.

Ray wrote and published a book called ‘Shadow Neighbor, which sold at various book stores.
