Jeanne of Fruit Heights, celebrated her 80th birthday at a family dinner gathering.

She was born January 4, 1939, to Jessie and Ferd Kroksh.

She graduated from Ogden High School in 1957. She attended Utah State University. She had fun singing in a woman’s quartet while attending school.

She married Wayne E. Cook on June 12, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple.

The family moved from Ogden to Provo, Utah to Durango, Colorado and then back to Fruit Heights in 1978. During those years she held many teaching and leadership positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also enjoyed singing in the ward choir.

She and Wayne worked 13 ^ years as Bountiful Temple workers and 3 ^ years as Temple Square ushers.

Her hobbies are spending time with family, love of animals, gardening, music, singing, flowers, beautiful things, friends and serving those around her.

She was blessed with four children, Cindy (Brad), Jeff (Tina), Lisa (Alan) and Brian (Jenny). She has 12 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
