Happy 80th Birthday!: Diane Coombs Taylor

By Staff | Apr 14, 2019

The family of Diane C. Taylor, a long-time resident of Plain City, UT is happy to announce her 80th Birthday with a celebration! Family and friends are invited to celebrate on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. at the Farr West LDS Church: 2123 North 2000 West.

Diane was born April 20th, 1939 to Paul and Bonnie Coombs. She was raised in Tremonton, UT with her eleven brothers and sisters. Mom graduated from Bear River High School, and attended Utah State University, where she met the love of her life, Glenn Taylor! They were married August 1959 and enjoyed 47 wonderful years raising their four children: Wendy, Sheila, Ryan, and Rick together! Mom is a former employee with the Utah State Tax Division, USU Extension Service, former Board member of IIMC, former City Recorder, Plain City, UT.

Diane has spent her 80 years focused on things she loves: family, church, and community service. Mom stays young as a Temple Service worker and hospital volunteer. She enjoys working in her yard, hosting family dinners with her siblings and spouses, grandchildren who are nearby or passing through, bakes, cans, plants flowers, mows her lawn and is working towards her goal of indexing a million names for Family Search. But above all, she loves being with her family!

We love you Mom and are proud of your tremendous example of service throughout your life to your family, the LDS Church and the community of Plain City!

Happy Birthday!
