Abby will celebrate her 80th birthday on April 23, 2019, with friends and family.

She was born in Ogden, UT. to Joseph Albert and Noreen Hamre Dean, the first of seven children. She grew up in Fairview and attended Wilson and Walquist Elementary, Washington Jr. High, and Weber High School.

She married Mark Hinkley. She has seven sons and two daughters, two stepsons, one stepdaughter 19 grandkids, 16 great-grandkids, and two great-great-grandkids. She has lived in Oregon, Washington and now in Layton, UT.

Fishing and camping at Oxbow Dam on the Snake River with family reunions are some of her passions. Although retired, she still works as a caregiver, yard worker, landscaper, vegetable and flower gardener and housekeeping for the elderly.
