Happy 100th Birthday: Luella Thacker Hellewell
Luella Thacker Hellewell born Jan. 25, 1919 in Bluebell, UT. to Charles David and Alice Jane Wagstaff Thacker.
While still young her family moved back to Charleston, UT. She loved living on a farm with her 11 brothers and sisters. She attended high school in Heber and graduated from BYU with a teaching certificate. She taught school in Wallsburg, Altamont, and Clearfield, UT.
Married Dave M. Hellewell Jr. in 1945. Together they raised ten children in Washington Terrace. Their children are Byron (Diana) Hellewell, DeAnn (Dennis) Lundgreen, Marla (Steve) Raff, Nedra (Brent) Allen, Neil (Jo) Hellewell, Clarice (Paul-deceased) Biddle, Brent (Liz) Hellewell, Ava (Michael) Christian, Keith (Cindi) Hellewell and Alice (Dee-deceased) Higley. She currently has 51 grandchildren and 121 great-grandchildren.
A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A retired member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Her 100th birthday was celebrated at a family party on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
