Lucille “Lou” Carver Sanchez will celebrate her 100th birthday with family and friends. An Open House will be held Saturday, February 23rd from 2:00?4:00 p.m. at the Clearfield 6th Ward meeting house located at 220 West 975 North, Sunset, Utah. All are welcome to attend. No Gifts Please.

Lucille was born on February 20, 1919, in Plain City to Josiah E. and Adella Moyes Carver, one of eight children. Her sister is June C. Frew of Hooper.

She married Robert J. “Bob” Sanchez in the Hill Air Force Base Chapel on May 30, 1948. During their military career, they lived in Oregon, Alaska, Ohio, Guam, Michigan and retired to Clearfield in 1965. He died on June 28, 1994.

She worked for Dr. Russell Hurst, Schubach Jewelers, Ogden Arsenal, and retired from the AAFES accounting office in March 1974.

She is a member of the Clearfield Literary Guild. Through the years she has been involved in many clubs and activities. She is a joy to our family and keeps us all laughing. Aunt Lucille, we love you lots!
