A birthday celebration for Dale I. Droubay is just around the corner. 90 is a wonderful age to celebrate.

Dale Droubay was born June 14, 1929 in Tooele Utah. He grew up in various mining towns throughout Utah, Nevada, and California. After graduation from Tooele High he served a mission to Canada. He served in the Navy during the Korean War on the mine sweeper S.S Ptarmigan. He graduated from BYU and taught school in Weber and Davis counties for 36 years. He worked for Clearfield City as a building inspector.

He married Velma Liddell Droubay March 18, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and they had four children. Dale and Velma both served in the Mendoza, Argentina mission. Velma passed away in 2010.

Dale spends his days helping others, and he also volunteers at the Ogden LDS Temple.
