Grant will be 80 on March 9, 2019. He was born in Moab, to parents Dee and Melba Helquist Black. He lived his first 18 years in Blanding, Utah and graduated from San Juan High, then moved to Brigham City in 1957.

Grant studied at the Weber Sheetmetal Trade School and worked for 44 years in that trade. He married Treva Daniel Black and they settled in Plain City.

Grant’s hobbies included racing horse’s, raising exotic pheasants, riding his RZR. He values most is his family and going to our property at Dove Creek building an Old Western village. He will celebrate with family and friends.
