Beverly was born in Ogden, Utah on March 20th, 1929 to Charles Arthur and Jennie Tams Carlson. She grew up in Willard and married William L. Packer on March 20th, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised their family in Brigham City. She will be 90 this March.

Her six children, 33 grandchildren, their spouses, and 105 Great-Grandchildren visit her home and, as always, find treats there. Sometimes Packer Pretzels, Carlson Cannon Balls, Hand-dipped Chocolates (191 lbs. she made to give out last Christmas), Honey Popcorn or Caramels aplenty.

When family members are not there, she works on one of the 300 needlepoint pictures she has finished and mostly given away, or one of the over 800 quilt tops she has crafted to be Baptism quilts. Always busy, always smiling, she always has a listening ear.

Her years have been filled with service and care to her family, her church and her community. A large heart beats in her small, ladylike frame. Her beautiful white hair seems like a very deserved halo! No one is more surprised than her to be celebrating this very special birthday.
