Stephanie Jeppsen Bennett
March 27, 1976 ~ December 21, 2014
MANTUA – Stephanie Jeppsen Bennett, 38, passed away suddenly on December 21, 2014 at Ogden Regional Hospital while giving birth to her baby daughter, Sadie Stephanie Bennett. Stephanie was born on March 27, 1976 in Brigham City, Utah, the eldest child of Gardner and Jana Richards Jeppsen. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1994. Stephanie met her sweetheart and eternal soul mate, Brett Bennett, at USU. Actually they fell in love while dancing. On June 7, 1996, they were married for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple. Always a devoted wife and mother she found her greatest joy spending time making memories with her family.
Stephanie was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was currently serving as the Mantua 2nd Ward Young Womens President. She had previously served in the Primary and Relief Society presidencies as well as numerous other callings. She drew spiritual strength from attending the Temple weekly and spent many hours volunteering at her childrens schools, the Food Pantry and in her community. Stephanie was loved by everyone, becoming a great example in their lives.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Brett Bennett, and their five children; Brogan, Ridge, Dace, Annie and newborn, Sadie Stephanie. She is also survived by her parents, Gardner and Jana Jeppsen and siblings: Julie (Roger) Stuart, Michelle (Jeremy) Gee, Joanna (Michael) Wyatt, Greg (Ellie) Jeppsen, Melanie (Joey) Hill, Spencer (Cassie) Jeppsen, Jodi (Jeremy) Thornock, Ted, Bryce (currently serving an LDS Mission in the Dominican Republic) and Ashlee.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Holly and Natalie.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Mantua Chapel, 237 S. Willard Peak Rd., Mantua. Friends may call Sunday, December 28th from 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on December 29, 2014 from 10-10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Mantua Cemetery.
