Donald Eugene Spitzer
On February 6, 2014, I lost my best friend and husband. Together 44 years; some good, some not so, but through all of them love was never lost. A good man, father and grandfather passed with hisfamily at his side. He will be missed dearly.
Don was born on August 26, 1946 in Billings, MT. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1968.
He was a jack-of-all-trades, working in many professions from lumber jack to diesel mechanic. Not much he couldn’t fix if it was broken.
Don is survived by his life long love and wife Pat Spitzer (Ogden); three beautiful daughters: Eva Christine (Steve) Love of Harrisville; Julia E. (Ron) Landers of West Jordan; Katrina Michele (Andrew) Osborne of Ogden, and Leslie A. Borrego of Ogden, a very special friend to Don, Pat and Julia. His 12 grandchildren, Brandi, Tyson, Joshua, Chase, Sarah, Nathan, Kody, Paul, Brandon, Kelsey and Taya; his special angel and phone buddy Charlee Jean; and six great-grandchildren, K`Dee, Bailee, Monroe, Carson, Remei, Donte and Bronx. Two sisters, Betty Lou Beardsly her son George, and Dena (Jim) Ellwainger and their daughter Gloria. Preceded in death by his best buddy, Daisy Mae.
Don, I’ll love you forever and always.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held for family and friends onSaturday, February 15, 2014 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Aarons Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
