Rodger Whipple
November 12, 1951 ~ October 8, 2014
BRIGHAM CITY – Rodger Dale Whipple born November 12, 1951 died October 8, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Rodger was always full of life. He was kind and thoughtful always thinking of others. He would sacrifice anything for his family and friends.
On April 13, 1974 Rodger married the love of his life and best friend Camille Dastrup. Their 40 years together were full of adventure, joy, trials, happiness but most of all love. Their army consists of ten children and 26 grandchildren. Over the course of his life he pursued many occupations from selling cars to pedaling toilet paper on the side of the road. Many in the covert world knew him by his code name Zfrog King.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, doing anything he was asked to do as long as he was able. He had a real love for people, always trying to help make their lives better. Rodger will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was just a phone call away, lightening the burden of any in need. He frequently said to friends and family, If you kiss enough frogs eventually you will find a prince.
