Kent Wayne Storrer
September 24, 1961 ~ July 25, 2015
On the evening of July 25, 2015 Kent passed away at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho as a result of a senseless act of evil.
Kent was born in Ogden, Utah on September 24, 1961 to Gary and Shirley Storrer.
He spent his youth working on his Grandpa’s dairy farm where he developed his strong work ethic and love of working with cattle. He graduated from Weber High School and went to work in the trucking industry. He married Stacy Perkins in 1983 and moved to Twin Falls Idaho. They spent the next 32 years raising kids, dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, and even a bobcat. He was always threatening them with “don’t bring another animal on this place”.
Kent spent the past several years doing what he loved; watching his children grow into loving, kind adults, sharing his life with his special Stacy, working on the family cattle ranch with his best friends, Gary and Dave; drinking diet coke and being Papa to his special pal, granddaughter, Adelyn Qualls.
Kent was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Robinson, sister, Alisa Walker, grandparents, Art and Virgie Storrer and grandparents, James Earl and Alice Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy; daughters: Gretchen (Jasper) Qualls, Twin Falls, Idaho; Alix Storrer, Twin Falls, Idaho; son: Josh Storrer, Island Park, Idaho, parents: Gary and Connie Storrer, Twin Falls, Idaho; brother: David (Candice) Storrer, West Haven, Utah; sister: Tamra (Jed) Iverson, Fruit Heights, Utah, sister: Nicole (Jon) Heaton, Saint Paul, Minnesota, brother-in-law: Dave (Diane) Walker, Twin Falls, Idaho: daughter: Kassie (Jon) Weight, Rigby, Idaho, and granddaughter: Adelyn Qualls.
An outside casual memorial will be held August 3, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the family ranch, 4075 N 3200 E, Twin Falls, Idaho. Burial will be at 1 p.m.on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
