Fernanda M. Gutierrez, 88, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, in Ogden, UT. She was born on October 22, 1928, in Floresville, TX, to Pedro Gonzales and Agustina Montalbo (Rosas).

Fernanda was married to Severiano Gutierrez on September 25, 1945. She was affiliated to the Catholic Church and had a great passion for baking and making tortillas.

She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Escobedo; her sons: Jesse Gutierrez, Severiano Gutierrez Jr., and Daniel Salinas Jr.; her brother, Willy Salinas; 21 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel L. Gutierrez; her parents; one brother; and one sister.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th St. Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held Thursday evening, September 21, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th St. Ogden, UT.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
