Casey Alan Bailey

Jul 7, 2018

July 27, 1982 ~ July 2, 2018

Casey Alan Bailey, (35), passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2018, of a heart attack while residing in Anchorage, Alaska. He will be missed beyond measure.

Casey was born on July 27, 1982, to Kevin and Christy Bailey in Payson, Utah. Casey was raised in Harrisville, and Pleasant View, Utah, and graduated from Weber High School. Casey loved to sing and was a member of the Weber High Chamber Choir. Casey loved cars, animals, and the outdoors.

Casey married his true love, Keri McCoy on January 12, 2001, in the Bountiful, Utah, Temple. They were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Kortnee (17), Katie (17), and Harley (15), who Casey adored and loved.

Casey had a passion for healthcare, particularly the EP Lab. Casey began his career at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, and University Hospital, in Salt Lake City, UT. Casey was then hired by Biosense Webster in 2006, and moved to Bothell, Washington, with his family. Casey also worked for the University of Washington. Recently, Casey accepted a job with Cross Country, and was working at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Casey suffered from heart problems at an early age and suffered from a number of medical problems as a result. Casey was the recipient of a donor heart on November 14, 2012, which he referred to as his “second birthday.” Because of this wonderful gift, Casey was able to live an additional six years. One of Casey’s greatest joys was being able to watch Kortnee and Katie recently graduate from high school.

Casey is survived by Keri and his three daughters; his parents, Kevin and Christy; brothers: Ryan (Liz), Jacob (Sharilee), Nathan (Julie) Bailey; and sister, Angie (Vernon) Mortensen; and a large extended family. Casey was loved dearly and will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View, Utah Stake Center located at 2975 N. 1000 W., in Pleasant View, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a memorial account set up at America First Credit Union in the name of Casey Alan Bailey. A Go Fund Me account has also been set up for Casey’s family. All proceeds will go to Keri and her children during this trying time in their lives.
