Cecil Clarence Cain, Jr., age 72, passed away February 5, 2019. He was born April 27, 1946, to Cecil Clarence Cain and Francis Mae Baker in Yakima, Washington.
Cecil was raised by his grandmother Martha Cain in Weiser, Idaho. In 1965, he graduated Ogden High School, joined the Navy, went to boot camp, got married to Jolene Green on November 3, and went to Vietnam aboard the U.S.S. Hancock.
Cecil loved woodworking and was an exceptional craftsman. His attention to detail and quality of his work was conveyed in whatever he built.
We love and will miss you always.
Cecil is survived by his two sons, Shawn Allen Cain and Darin Lee Cain, his daughter Jodie Michelle Keller, brother Leroy “Larry” Cain, as well as other family members Wilma Hansen, Sally Pierce, Robert Cain, Sandy Fuit, Bill Cain, Suzie Nye, and seven grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to pay last respects at his home, 335 W. 4525 S., Washington Terrace, Utah, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 1-7 p.m.
