David married Edna Rae Dennett on September 23, 1966, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to the Southern States. He was employed and retired from DDO.

David had a love for cars, loved to camp and go sight-seeing, but mostly loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, children, Lori (Reed), Scott (Amy), and Debbie, 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Brenda.

A viewing will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Provident Funeral Home 3800 S Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah from 11:00 – 12:30 pm. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at the Ogden City Cemetery.
