Nancy Ann McFarlane

Nancy Ann McFarlane, 68, of Sunset, Utah passed away on 22 November 2021 after enduring many years with ALS and recently suffering from complications of melanoma. She was born on 20 May 1953, in Ogden, UT to Ralph Osborne and Eloise Jean (Brostrom) Osborne.

She married Peter J. McFarlane 28 June 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1971. She took pride in serving her family and being involved in the community; she served as PTA president for two years and a PTA board member. She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, crocheting, and traveling from time to time. She loved being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and faithfully attended Church each week.

She enjoyed serving in the church in any capacity that was asked of her. She was known for her beautiful smile, pleasant nature, and was resilient as she faced many difficult challenges with her health.

She was an exemplary, diligent, and a devoted mother to four children, Ranae (Travis) Eisenbarth, Amy (Ryan) Kendrick, Bryson (Kami) McFarlane, and Melanie (Tony) Francis, and 13 grandchildren.

Her siblings are Jan (Lloyd) Ukena, Michael (Lorrie) Osborne, Robert (Melinda) Osborne, and Darin (Creig) Nelson-Osborne.

She is preceded in death by her parents, parents’ in-law (Pete and Norma), brother Michael, a sister-in Law, and two grandchildren.

A viewing will be Friday, November 26, 2021 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Myers Mortuary 5865 S 1900 W Roy. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021 11:00 AM with a viewing prior 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Sunset 1st Ward Chapel 2431 N 250 W, Sunset, Utah.

She will be buried at the Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden, UT.
