Marshall S. Applegate

Marshall S. Applegate, 76, Lt Col, USAF (Retired), passed away in Mesa, AZ, on October 10, 2021. He married Janice Britton on 7/23/1966, in Dayton, OH. They had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. He retired from the United States Air Force with 24 years of service where he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of flying. After retiring from the Air Force, Marshall prepared taxes for many years and especially enjoyed working with his clients. He was also an avid outdoorsman. He and Janice moved to AZ to be closer to their family and grandchildren. Marshall is survived by Janice Applegate, spouse; Joy, Daughter, Dale, son-in-law, 3 grandchildren–Marshall, Eliza, and Allison; Steven Applegate, brother, and a niece and a nephew. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later time. He was very deeply loved and will be sorely missed. We love you, Vern.
