Rodney T. Gallegos, 60, passed away August 24, 2021 in Ogden, Utah. He was born January 3, 1961 to Alfonso Gallegos and Mary Vigil in Ogden, Utah.

He attended Ogden High School and Weber State University. Rodney married Connie Atencio on October 30, 1987 in Ogden, Utah.

Rodney was a member of the Potter House Christian Center. He had a passion for classic cars, he entered many car shows and won many trophies and plaques. He worked HAFB as a coordinator as the 146 Mums. He invented and received a patent for Safely in Sports (SIS).

Rodney is survived by his wife Connie of 37 years; children Serina Love, Michael Gallegos, Alicia (Cory) Stone, Nick Gallegos; siblings Alfonso (Marie) Gallegos, Jess Gallegos, Elaine (Art) Villarruel, Rick (Arlene) Gallegos and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and best friend Leonard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT.
