Sep 24, 2021

June 03, 1939 – September 17, 2021

Jean Sill Stander, 82, passed away on Friday; September 17, 2021, at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah.

She was born June 03, 1939, in Brigham City, Utah to Edwin and Verda (Boyce) Stander. She attended Weber High School and worked for Hercules Aerospace Manufacturing for much of her work-life.

Though Jean’s health was declining for years, few people knew the extent to which she struggled. She continued doing what she loved most, traveling to Arizona during Utah’s winter months, making memories at the property with family, riding ‘wheelers’, and cart hopping at every Wal-Mart along the way. Her strength and courage kept her pushing through the pain.

Jean is survived by her loving husband, Robert Child, sister Faye Stander Barnson, son Ronald ‘Ron’ Anderson, and daughter Kelly Anderson. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Donna Stander Knight, brother Ray Stander, two previous husbands; George E. Anderson Jr. and Leland “Jay” Sill, son Gerald “Jerry” Anderson, daughter Debra (Debbie) Anderson, and grandson Mark Anderson.

Jean never liked being the center of attention, and per her wishes there will be no services. The family will gather for a “Celebration of Life” luncheon on Saturday, October 9, 2021 @ 12:00 PM.
