Donna Mae Heiner Maxwell Monson

1929 — 2021

Donna Mae Heiner Maxwell Monson passed peacefully in her sleep early September 24, 2021 at the feisty age of 91. Born on November 28, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Coulam R Heiner and Eva Bertoch Heiner. Donna is the middle of three siblings: Jerry Heiner and Bonnie Heiner Peterson.

Donna went to Morgan High school and spent her 33 working years as an employee of the IRS working as a payment tracer tax examiner in the accounting department.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents and both her siblings.

She leaves behind to celebrate her life (3) three loving daughters: Mitzi (John) Barber, Lori (Gary) Pemberton, and Vicki Locher (Guy Carlin). Donna’s joy came from her (13) thirteen grandchildren and her (12) twelve great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that she cherished.

Donna will be remembered for her spry, hilarious, and witty attitude. Her hair was almost as big as her personality, always curled so high up on her head you could find her amidst any crowd as long as you could spot that hair! Her family will never forget the “Donna-isms,” her very own comebacks, she had one for just about everything. To know Donna was to love her and always feel her spunk; her spirit will be greatly missed but will live on with her family.

The viewing for Donna is Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm, at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy Utah. The funeral will be held at the same location Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 am, with a viewing prior from 9:45-10:45 am. Interment at Milton Cemetery.

The family is forever thankful for the staff at Symbii Hospice and the country pines team that became her family over the past 21 years.
