Sharon Cunningham

January 19, 1937 — August 1, 2022

Sharon Cunningham peacefully passed away on the morning of August 1st, her loving husband and daughter were by her side.

Sharon was born on January 19, 1937, to Lucile Clark and David Crockett. She was the second of five children. Sharon grew up in South Ogden and attended Weber County schools, graduating from Weber High School.

Sharon loved to dance and spent many years studying ballet. She married Tom Cunningham and together they had four children; Brent (Sandy) Cunningham, Chris (Clif) Critchlow, Gary Cunningham, and Diane Cunningham. She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Sharon loved watching her grandchildren in their many sporting, dance and musical performances. She loved to garden and took great pride in her beautifully manicured yard. Sharon kept an immaculate house. She was a talented artist and spent many hours drawing and designing beautiful clothes and accessories. Sharon loved to shop. She loved her cat Mimi and spoiled her rotten.

Sharon spent her last years surrounded by her family. We love you and will miss you dearly.

We want to thank Dr. Mark Firth, the nurses of Applegate Hospice and the many nurses, CNA’s and staff at The Lodge in North Ogden. She received such good care, and her last days were filled with kindness and love.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
