Dec 12, 2022

1970 – 2022

Nancy Ann (Hillhouse) Ward, 52, of Harrisville, UT passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022

She was born December 5, 1970, the 2nd daughter of William (Bill) and Dorothy Jean Hillhouse at France Warren AFB, Wyoming. They moved back to Ogden, UT in 1973. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1989.

She married Stacy Ward and April 17, 1998. They have 2 children Hannah, 22, and Anthony, 18, both still at home.

Shortly after high school she started working for her “Second Family”, Smith & Edwards in Farr West, UT. She was happiest helping her customers as Head Cashier for 26 years. Their dedication to her was longstanding and overwhelming. She loved working with everyone there.

Nancy’s interests were as diverse as God’s creation. American History, with an emphasis on the Civil War; Ghost Hunters, Jack the Ripper history, Bull Riding, Classic Rock and Traditional Country Music, and Live Concerts. She rooted for the Denver Broncos. She also loved Diet Coke (had to be with lime) and Cheetos. Her all-time favorite TV show was Castle, “always”. As a devout Ben Lomond alumnus, she longed to travel to Scotland to explore their history. Stacy has plans to fulfill that dream.

She will be dearly missed by parents Bill and Jean Hillhouse of Harrisville, Utah, sister Vicki (B) Lewey of Champaign, IL., sister (by love) Peggy Davis of Ogden, nephews Jacob Ward of Chicago, IL, Bryan Bitton of Denham Springs, LA, Weston Bitton and Colton Bitton of Champaign, IL.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. No one is lost who is not forgotten. Nancy will never be lost to us.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the “Nancy Ward Memorial Fund” at any Golden West Credit Union location.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com.
