Our beloved brother passed away January 27, 2022. Eddie was born on August 16,1968 to Sulema and Isidoro Escobedo in Ogden, Utah.

Eddie had a heart of gold. Everyone whose life he touched comments on how respectful, kind, and generous he was. He never said “no” to anyone that needed his help and never expected anything in return. He had a deep baritone voice like his uncle Barney and a unique chuckle when he laughed. Eddie loved sports and knew the batting average of all the baseball players. He loved the outdoors; especially loved to fish. He would always tell everyone he was going fishing. Eddie had an unfulfilled dream of spending time in Mexico with his dad.

He was affectionately known as “Buck” by family and friends. To his nieces and nephews he was “Uncle Buck”. He was extremely fond of all his nieces and nephews.

There will be a deep void in our heart until we meet him in paradise. (John 5:28,29)

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother Sulema. He is survived by his father Isidoro and his siblings: Esther (Fred) Martinez, Ramiro Escobedo, Arnold (Sylvia) Escobedo, Miguel (Virginia) Escobedo, Esteban (Tina) Escobedo, Mark (Caroline) Escobedo, Cris (Gloria) Escobedo, Osvaldo (Paloma) Escobedo, and Juan (Claudia) Hernandez.

A virtual Memorial Service on Zoom will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
