Dr. Dale Leland Tribe DDS

Dale passed away January 7th at the age of 94. He was born to Dr. Leland F and Rosella Compton Tribe December 22, 1927. He attended Ogden High School, Weber State College, then graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree. From there to the University of Pennsylvania graduating with his doctorate of dentistry. Dale practiced in the navy then came back to Ogden, working in private practice with his dad, brother, and nephew Mike for over 40 years retiring at age 71. Dads’ passions were hunting, fishing, golf with family and friends, and all sports Following Utah teams. He loved his flowers and vegetable garden. His other passion was traveling with his truck and trailer every chance he got, going coast to coast, warm places in the winter. He married Margaret Smith. (deceased) He then married Shirley Perkins spending 40 years together until his passing. Dale is survived by his wife Shirley, children Kelly Tribe, Julianne Stromberg, and Craig (Christy) Tribe, his Brother Dr. A. Lee (Marilyn) Tribe. He is also survived by his 6 stepchildren: Jody, Becky, Robyn, Holli, Jannie, and Ellis, many grands, and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his 2 sons Steven and Allen, his son in law Paul Stromberg, his sister and her husband Carolyn and Lamar Skeen. There will be graveside services Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Ogden city cemetery at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests you donate to the charity of your choice.
