Patricia Kay Green

Jan 10, 2022

March 17, 1945 — January 5, 2022

Heaven shines brighter, sparkling with the arrival of Patricia Green. Pat or Patti (mom to us) left this world on January 5th unexpectedly, leaving a hole in many hearts but assuredly great joy in the heart of her beloved husband and soul mate, Thayne R. Green who was awaiting her arrival.

Born in Great Falls, MT, to Charles C. Reinhart and Jessie Brooks Reinhart she took great pleasure in her Irish roots and ancestry. She was the 4th of 8 close-knit siblings, growing up blessed with family ties in a time of limited financial resources. Her formative years were spent in Conrad, MT and Greybull, WY. She married Larry Moore and followed him around the world, living in Japan, England, and across the US. That union produced two daughters, Cindy and Leslie who mourn her loss. Her third marriage was to the man that made her laugh and shine, Thayne Green. They wed in 1986 and lived a life of dedication and tenderness.

Mom became a cracker-jack real estate agent while raising her daughters. She developed a clientele that valued and trusted her to the point of returning time and again to buy and sell their homes during her 40+ year career. She was the recipient of many awards, but it was the friendships she made during that time that meant the most to her. Mom valued relationships above all. The extensive network of friends and family gave her the greatest happiness. She was dogged in her fierce support, devotion and defense of those she loved – a steadfast champion, advocate and supporter of her friends and family. Leading by example she provided her daughters and others with a road map of encouragement, self-reliance, bravery and a knowledge that dreams are attainable if only you reach for them.

Travel was her hobby, loving the new and the old traveled paths. A favorite destination was Ireland, but England, Scotland, and the vast US were all places she enjoyed and many were blessed to share in her adventures.

Survivors included her two daughters, Cindy (Kurt) Argyle, Hooper, UT, and Leslie (William) Walsh of Grapevine, TX, siblings Peggy Patterson, Hoodsport, WA, Bill (Louise) Reinhart, Rock Springs, WY, Cheri (Art) Rivard, Danville, KY, Cari (John) Killefer, Brookings, SD, stepchildren Robert (Anne) Green, St. George, UT, Mark (Holly) Green, Evanston, WY, Brad Green, Missoula, MT, many wonderful nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-nieces/nephews and step-grandchildren, all of whom are very special to her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A viewing will be held on January 13, 2022, from 6-8 pm at the Russon Mortuary, 1585 W 300 S, Syracuse, UT. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at 11 AM at Clearfield Community Church, 525 E 200 S, Clearfield, UT, with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to one of the following charities: Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research michaeljfox.org or Salvation Army salvationarmyUSA.org, in her name.
