Nadine Haun

Nadine Harding Haun, 96, of Farr West, Utah passed away January 2, 2022. She was born January 20, 1925, to Benjamin Dwight Harding and Ettye Isabelle Dayley in Brigham City, Utah.

She married Wallace Edmund Haun on June 19, 1947, in Logan, Utah.

She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1943. She worked at Hill Air Force Base, then moved to Alameda, California, where she and her husband owned and operated a Spudnut Shop. They moved back to Ogden in 1950, eventually settled in Pleasant View for 50 years. She is a member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Her interests included spending time with family and friends at Bear Lake, sewing and quilting. Nadine started a program through United Way called Blankets and Quilts for New Mothers. She made and donated hundreds of blankets and quilts.

Nadine is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and has held many positions, one of her favorites was Ward Librarian. She and her husband worked at the Ogden Temple for over 20 years. She is a member of the North Ogden Kiwanis Club.

She is survived by their children; Gordon and Carole Haun, Jennifer Haun, Wallace and Diane Haun, David Haun, Kent Haun, Alycia and David Roberts and Maree and Mark Parkinson, 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, great grandchildren; Brynn Haun and Dorian Boehm, and her siblings; Erma, Alma, Cora, Margaret, Eliza, Elva and Stillman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, 11:30 a.m. at the Farr West 3rd Ward, 1745 North 2300 West, Farr West, UT. With a visitation prior to services from 10 ­ 11 a.m. Please adhere to COVID protocol.

The family would like to thank Seasons Assisted Living and AFI Hospice for the loving care they gave to Nadine.
