Josie Garcia

1942 — 2021

Maria “Josie” Garcia passed away peacefully August 8, 2021 from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She was born April 25, 1942 to Manuel & Bisintita Gallegos & raised In Ogden, Utah.

Josie attended St Joseph schools & continued her education at Weber State University.

Jose married Delfino Pacheco, she later married Roger Garcia.

Josie worked for numerous companies in the Ogden area, but ultimately worked & retired from Hill Air Force Base. She was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic church and the Council of Catholic Women (CCW).

Although Jose never had children of her own, she had countless nieces and nephews that brought her much joy over the years.

Josie has been reunited with all of her loved loves & the two Zeldas are finally reunited.

The Holy Rosary will be held Saturday, January 15, 2021 at 9:30am @ St Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden Utah. Mass immediately following @ 10am.

Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
