A. Kay George

January 11, 1943 — June 21, 2022

WASHINGTON TERRACE ­- A. Kay George, our sweet and brave mom, wife, grandma and friend, passed away at the age of 79 on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She fought Parkinson’s Disease valiantly for 25 years before her death.

Kay was born January 11, 1943, in Ogden to Lance and Aleene Wheelwright. She married Ray George in 1961 and together they had two children, Jennifer and Lance.

She worked in business administration for 39 years, retiring from Boeing after 20 years. Some of Kay’s loves were boating and camping with her family and friends, antiquing, and most of all spoiling her grandchildren. She was kind to everyone she met with her sweet, shy smile.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kay is survived by her children, Jennifer George, Lance (Crista) George, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother and sister.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 E Washington Blvd. Friends and family may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
