Kent Kitada

1950 — 2022

Kent R Kitada, 71, Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away early morning on June 30, 2022. He is so loved and adored and will be greatly missed!

Kent was born in Los Angeles, CA to Frank and Natsu (Ann) Kitada on December 21, 1950. He grew up in LA where he completed all of his schooling. He graduated from Cal State LA with a degree in engineering. He loved his career at Lockheed Martin missiles until he retired in 2010.

He married the Love of his life on March 26, 1995. He adopted their children on June 21, 2001. He was the most amazing man you would ever meet! He loved golfing, LA Dodgers, driving his Camaro, fishing, boating, spending time with his family, and loved to travel and making memories. He was an amazing cook and loved to try new recipes.

He is survived by his wife Iris Westmoreland Kitada; his daughter Shanna Kitada; stepdaughter Charlotte Linder Wise; sister Sharyn & Mike Griffin; 6 grandchildren; many brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins and loving friends. He is preceded in death by both patents Frank & Ann; his son Brandon and a grandson Nathaniel.

We are comforted to know he was greeted by many of his precious loved ones on the other side and that we will see him again someday!

A celebration of life will be held on July 12, 2022 at 2pm in Ben Lomond 11th Ward cultural hall, at 3610 N 650 E, No Ogden, UT. Dress casual and come celebrate the life and love of such a wonderful man.
