Violet Irene Hayes-Simone

March 4, 2005 — July 15, 2022

On Friday, July 15, 2022, at approximately 2:09 PM Violet Irene Hayes-Simone, loving daughter, fiancé, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend, passed away suddenly at the young age of 17. Violet, as a passenger, was traveling home to Utah from Colorado, with her fiancé, Joseph Fearn. Unfortunately, they were involved in an accident due to poor weather conditions. Their vehicle hydroplaned into oncoming traffic which ended in a T-bone collision on SR Highway 6 near Soldier Summit (Wasatch County Utah.) Joseph sustained severe and life-threatening injuries and Violet died instantly on impact.

A Viewing will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday July 30, 2022, at Leavitt’s Mortuary (836 36th St in Ogden, Utah). Violet’s funeral will follow right after, at 2:00 PM, also at Leavitt’s Mortuary in Ogden, Utah.
