Ogden- Joyce Price, 73, passed away on May 10, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on July 18, 1948 in Ogden, Utah; the daughter of Reuben Lee Allphin (Ott) Price and Marvel Pearl Martin Price.

She attended Weber High School and grew up in North Ogden, Utah.

Joyce was passionate about health and fitness and helping others achieve their health goals. She made a career out of this passion by working for various wellness companies for over 30 years. While working for Jenny Craig, her position required extensive travel. She loved being able to visit and live in many areas of the United States. She lived in Tennessee, Oklahoma, North Dakota, California, Iowa and Kansas before coming back to her home state of Utah.

Style was another passion of Joyce’s and she was known for her impeccable style. She loved to dress up, go shopping, her hair was always styled, and her nails were almost always painted red. This led to Joyce’s “fun job” later in her career at Dillard’s Department Store. Joyce enjoyed her time at Dillard’s and won many sales contests and awards.

Joyce also enjoyed country music and in her later years was thrilled to join her brother Jim and her niece Jerine on a trip to Nashville. She enjoyed spending time with Jim and Jerine they went on many trips together including Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, Martina McBride concerts, volunteering for Diabetes Association Tour De Cure Bicycle Event in Box Elder County, crafting, making hundreds of tie blankets, and enjoying family time together. A special thank you to Jim Price, Jerine Price and Kris Harrop for all the time they spent with Joyce making memories together.

Joyce is survived by her two daughters Kori (Jeff) Reece Jensen and Jamie (Matthew) Carmichael Swenson. Grandchildren Justin Jensen (Jamie), Angela Reece, Bjorn and Lars Swenson. Great grandchildren Kiya, Kasen and Kacen. She is survived by four siblings Judy Valdez, Jean (Stewart) Clark, Jerry O. (Jill) Price and Jay (Lori) Price. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Many friends that she held close to her heart. Joyce was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents Reuben Lee Allphin (Ott) Price and Marvel Pearl Martin Price, former husbands Michael Forester, David Reece, and Larrie A. Carmichael, her son Terry Reece, brothers Harold Fife, Delbert Lee (Nelda) Price and James Price, baby sister Arlene Price, brother in law Willie Valdez, sisters in law Enid Fife and Marva Price.

We think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
