Guy Stuart Cottam

1957 – 2022

Our loving dad, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend, Guy Stuart Cottam passed away suddenly on May 10, 2022. Guy was born on May 21, 1957, to Norman LeRoy and Violet Beck Cottam. He was raised in Ogden, Utah, and graduated from Weber High School.

Guy started working for Big-O Tires then Morgan Asphalt and Hill Air Force Base. He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 2020.

Guy is the proud dad to two sons. Trever and Nik. He has three grandkids, Owen, Marcus, and Ethan.

Guy was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He loved time camping and hiking. Guy was a good storyteller when seated around a campfire. Sunday afternoon when having to leave the mountains was a sad time. He was a great tinkerer and loved being in the workshop. He could take apart any small engine and work for hours. Guy liked horseback riding. He was part of Junior posse. Guy was a barrel racer which won him several shiny belt buckles. Nothing ran better than his Dodge 2500 truck.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City Utah.
