Jimmy Armitage

February 22, 1951 — October 23, 2022

Morgan, Utah. “Jim” passed away on October 23, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Jean George Armitage and LeRoy Luker Armitage.

Jim spent 40 years with the family painting business, traveling throughout the US. He said those were the best years of his life. After retirement, he found happiness in many hobbies including models, trains, matchbox cars, coloring, and Volkswagen’s, especially his 1974 VW Bug.

He was proud of his sobriety [17+ years] and absolutely loved the AA, CA, NA community, in which he made amazing friends in the process. His faith and members of the LDS church helped guide him through trying times.

Survived by his siblings: Pamela Densley, Jeanie Armitage, and Lance Armitage; his children, Jared Armitage (Skye) and Jenny Armitage; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Andrews and Easton Hackford.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, Murray, UT.
