Jaron Lee Edgar
In the early morning hours of November 30, 2023, Jaron Lee Edgar, known affectionately by many as Jar Bear or the Gentle Giant, embarked on his final road trip. Born on February 23, 1988, in Ogden, UT, Jaron lived his life with tireless resilience, a quick wit, and a belly laugh that could lighten even the darkest of days.
He is survived by his father, Christopher Edgar, his mother, Collette Tippy, his brother, Tristin Leishman, and his sister, Jordan Edgar, a grandmother, Judy Slocum, 3 nephews and a niece, Zayne, Khyon, Greyson and Braiyah. He adored his niece and nephews and often found himself playing the role of the funny, loving uncle and father figure. He was a steadfast motivator, always encouraging those around him to strive for their best.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Jaron’s life on Saturday, December 9, 2023. A viewing will be held from 1-2 pm at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, 84404, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 pm.
