Elner Josephine Brandon, born August 24, 1924; passed away quietly in her home on December 26, 2023 following a head injury received from a fall in her home six days prior.

She was born in Twin Falls, ID; and met her future husband, Raymond L Brandon (then residing in Buhl, ID) at high school dances and inter scholastic baseball games. Raymond enlisted in the Navy December 17, 1940 during his senior year of high school before the Pearl Harbor attack.

He had been traveling all afternoon back and forth between Grand Central Station and Penn Station, not know for certain at which one she would arrive.

She was an active member of Queen Esther Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years and a member of the congregation of First Presbyterian Church of Ogden.

Josephine is survived by a daughter, Shirley R Olsen; son, Paul G Brandon; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and half-brothers, Junior Meyers of Twin Falls, ID, and Russell (Judy) Meyers of Salome, AZ.
