Joseph “Joe” Casale Jr., 84, passed away February 23, 2022, in Ogden, Utah, joining his loving wife Donna. He was born June 8, 1938, in Franklin Township New Brunswick, New Jersey to Anna Swenticky and Joseph Casale.

He married Donna Jordan on March 31, 1959 in Sommerville, New Jersey. Donna preceded Joe in death on July 6, 2019.

Joe was raised and schooled in Sommerville New Jersey. He entered the United States Air Force in January 1957. Joe served in many foreign countries including a tour in Vietnam. He ended up with a 100% disability upon his honorable discharge from the Air Force. His training while in the Air Force included different types of radar systems and he settled in the field of electronics. He has lived in Ogden since 1979 with his wife and family.

Joe served in the Air Force 23 years and for Hill Air Force Base as a civil service employee with the 84th Radar Squadron for another 18 years.

Joe was a member of the American Legion, Veteran of foreign Wars, AARP, Life member of the NCOA, TREA, and Commanders Club in the DAV.

Joe is survived by his son Joseph M. (Carol) Casale and sister Patricia (Alan) Beatty; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna, daughter LuAnn M. Dolan: parents; siblings James J. Casale and Barbara Silibila.

A viewing for Joe will be Friday, February 24, 2023, 3-5 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Interment at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, UT, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 3 pm where Military Honors will be accorded.
