Howard V Halverson
1938 – 2023
Howard Val Halverson, 84, born Feb. 28th, 1938 in Ogden, Utah died Feb. 5th in Ogden, Utah of natural causes.
He was survived by his five children; Valerie G. Woodruff, Laura I. Poulson of Ogden, Utah, Gary A. Halverson of Banning, CA, H. Brad Halverson of New Hampton, NY, Amelia A. Halverson of Los Angeles, CA, and five grandchildren.
Howard lived in Hooper, Utah for nearly 20 years, he also resided in Roy, Utah, and Ogden, Utah. He was an Air Force veteran, earned a degree in Sociology from Weber State University, and had a long career working at Clearfield Job Corps Center until his retirement. An avid camper, fisherman, and expert of “Dad jokes”, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
