James David Christensen

David is survived by his wife, Lois Palmer Christensen; daughters, Sydney Cederlof and Sheila Foley; son, Daniel Christensen; brother, Kenneth Christensen; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Celesta Hunt Christensen; brothers, Thord Christensen and Sharm Christensen; sisters, Sheila Shappell and Deloris Tietjen.

David served as a counterintelligence officer in Frankfurt, Germany for the United States Army in the 1960s, and later worked in sales for Maxwell House and Wallace Pharmaceuticals. He loved to sing, write songs, golf, grow peaches, and heckle his friends.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Red Church, 900 W. Pleasant View Drive, Pleasant View, UT. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
