Martha Misao Harada

March 14, 1926 — July 25, 2023

Martha Misao Harada, 97, a long-time Roy resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, with her family by her side.

She was the eldest daughter of Kiyoshi Yamamoto and Namiye Uchimura and graduated from Davis High School, Class of 1944.

Martha married Utaka Harada in 1949. They had six children together and celebrated 30 years of marriage prior to his passing in April of 1979.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Ogden Buddhist Church, 155 North Street. Friends may visit with family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Church.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
