K. Dewey Cragun

1941 – 2023

K. Dewey Cragun passed away peacefully April 3rd 2023 at his home. He was born December 14th 1941 in Ogden, Utah to Kenneth Dale and Eleanor Ritchie Cragun.

Dewey married Bonnie Jene Larsen on June 4th 1965 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were the parents of Mitchel, Nolan and Janell.

Deweys life was dedicated to public service and social responsibility.

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 44 years Bonnie, parents, sisters Verla Ritchie Summers and Meredith Cragun Bell, and Grandson Kaleb.

Dewey is survived by his children Mitchel, Nolan (Michelle) and Janell (Luna Draper), eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by one sister Louanna Cragun Stephens.

Dewey donated his body to the University of Utah School of Medicine to advance medical education and research.

The family will meet with friends for a Celebration of Life at a later date.
