Easton Lee Kraaima

Jun 2, 2023

October 9, 1996 — May 31, 2023

Easton Lee Kraaima was taken from this world too soon as he passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident in Roy, Utah on May 31, 2023 at the age of 26.

Easton was born October 9,1996 to Janet and Roger Kraaima in Ogden, Utah. He was the youngest of three brothers.

In the little free time he allowed himself, Easton was spending quality time with his family and friends; in the mountains, around a campfire, riding his motorcycles and making everyone around him smile.

Easton was the kind of guy you called when you needed anything-he was a workhorse that was always up for the task and responded with “what time do you need me?” You called him at 1 a.m. when you got stuck mudding, or needed him to drive 2000+ miles across the country just to help you move and he’d show up with an enthusiastic “hell yeah.”

Easton is survived by his wife, Brianne Schow Kraaima and unborn daughter, Brilynn Lee Kraaima; his mother, Janet Hess and Mick Curtis; his father, Roger and Jenny De Gruccio Kraaima; his brothers, Mitch and Kelsey Kraaima and Logan and Jill Kraaima; his nieces and nephews, Zeke, Roman, Oakley and Quinley Kraaima; his grandparents, Dell and Diane Kraaima, Larry and Joann Hess and Karen Crowton Kirkpatrick; his in-laws, Ruth Ann and Brian Schow; his step-brothers and sisters, Chelsea and Logan Petersen, Alyssa Chidester and Brandon Miller, and Emily and Tyler Kivley. Ashley Curtis, Eric Curtis and Ashley Purser, Brookann Curtis, and Chelsey and Jaren Balls; his brothers-in-law, Brady and Isabella Schow and Jake Schow. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Lynn, and Keith Kraaima; cousin, Chase; and step grandpa, Chad Kirkpatrick.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
