Joan Davies Stevens

Joan Davies Stevens, returned home to our loving Heavenly Father on May 27, 2023, at the age of 88. She was born on June 18, 1934, in Ogden, Utah. She was the daughter of Art Davies and Anna Feucht, both of whom preceded her in death. Joan married Marvin P. Drummond and they were blessed with four children. They later divorced. Later Joan married Robert H. Stevens and combined his four children with hers together as a family.

Joan graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State College. She retired from Hill Air Force Base. She enjoyed cooking, directing plays and hosting parties. Her and her sweetheart, Robert, enjoyed square dancing with the Whitney Whirlers along with their friends. They also spent several winters in Yuma, Arizona, where they met and made many more friends. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Daughters of the American Revolution. Joan was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and endured faithful to the end.

She is survived by her children, Scott Drummond (Connie), Brent Drummond (Shirley), Craig Drummond, Nannette Drummond, Bryan Stevens (Orie), Jeanette Pead (Wynn), Laurie McClellan (Chuck)

Her siblings, Art Davies, Allen Davies (Sharon), & Jan Lyons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Judy Davies, Brother Michael Davies, and Son Charles Stevens.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023. The viewing will be held from 9:40a.m. to 10:40a.m. prior.
