Jun 9, 2023

1965 – 2023

Jody Lyn Chynoweth, 57, passed away at her home, April 27th, 2023. She was born October 4, 1965, in Bountiful, Utah, to Glen Ray Chynoweth and Kathleen Christensen Chynoweth.

She is survived by her parents, stepmother Lyn Chynoweth, son Bret A. Harbertson, Jr. and daughter Axel Nova Bailey-Rust (Sierra); siblings David Chynoweth, Sandy Pagano, Cindy Chynoweth, Michael Chynoweth, and Molly Prentice; and half-sisters Brandie, Carlee, and Lacie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert and sister, Wendi.

Jody was a free spirit, kind, loving and she was a friend to those in need. She had a love of rocks and crystals and spent many hours searching and watching for the perfect ones. She often started a conversation with “Ooh, I’ve got to show you my rocks!”

She suffered from numerous trials in life and did her best to maintain a positive outlook. Her family is blessed to have many good memories and laughter as we reminisce on times spent together.

Say goodbye, close your eyes. Remember me. Walk away, the sun remains. Remember me. With some change, we can’t explain. Remember me. I’ll live on somewhere in your heart, you must believe. Remember me. Don’t you think of this as the end, I’ll come into your dreams. Remember me. Close your eyes, say goodbye. Remember me (Journey 1998).

She is now in a better place where she is free of her physical pains and able to go into “Tinkerbell Mode.” God Bless you, Jody. We will always love you and miss you dearly. Say Hi to Rob and Wendi for us.

A celebration of life will be held Sept 30, 2023 3 pm at the Botanical Gardens -1875 Monroe Blvd Ogden, UT – Reminder to follow.
