Boris Aaron passed away June 9, 2023, just 5 days before his 91st birthday. He was born June 14, 1932, in Allegheny, Pennsylvania to Peter Lozinyak and Emma Anastasia Demko. Boris graduated from North Braddock Scott High School in 1950. Boris then attended Pitt University on a wrestling scholarship.

Boris enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. The Air Force brought him to Ogden, Utah, and Hill Air Force Base, where he met Maggie Davies. They married in October 1955. After his discharge Boris and Maggie brought a home in Ogden and Boris began a career at Hill Air Force Base.

He and Maggie enjoyed square dancing, jeep safaris and growing a large garden. Over the years Boris collected hundreds of toy sheep, so many that he built a large building to display his collection.

In 1966 Boris joined the “World Wide Church of Christ”.

After Maggie’s death his large yard and home became too much, so Boris moved into “Our House” Assisted Living in 2019 where he later passed away.

Boris was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie; his parents; a sister, Helen Chizmar and brother, Steven Lozinyak; stepson, James William Stevenson, and stepson, Bert Hamblin.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Darlene Stevenson Hamblin, Becky Stevenson Carter (Mark), Mac Stevenson (Ann); nephews, Joseph Chizmar, David Chizmar, Charles Chizmar; niece Phyllis Musser and 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1:30 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT with a viewing prior from 12 to 1:15 pm.
