Richard Campbell

Richard Campbell rejoins hand in hand with his love, Pamela Baird Campbell. Richard passed away peacefully in his home at age 85 on Monday, June 26, 2023, after living a long loving life. Richard was born on February 6, 1938, to Theodore Raleigh Campbell and Zina (Campbell) Stevens.

Richard was married to Pamela in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. They raised their eight children in Weber County, Utah. Grandpa Campbell has spent his retirement years enjoying the company of his 18 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Richard was a soft-spoken, patient, and creative man gifted with the mind of an engineer. Some of Rich’s most memorable accomplishments centered on home improvement projects, building elaborate holiday displays, woodworking, and service projects such as homemade quilts for family, friends, and neighbors. He spent countless hours serving others by using his many talents.

Richard held various callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was fond of the years he spent working with the youth as a Blazer Teacher. Later in life, he served his church and community by serving as clergy at the hospital. He exercised his faith and grew through study and prayer, securing a sure knowledge of the restored gospel.

Loving father of Richard Jr (Tleena) Campbell, Joshua (Maria) Campbell, Ruth (David) Robb, Emma (Brent) VanEvery, Sarah Campbell, Jennifer (John) Taylor, Michael Campbell (deceased), and Beth (Dayne) Campbell.

He is brother to Joyce Campbell, Robert Campbell (deceased), Lillian Bunderson, Blaine Campbell (deceased) Grace Hanslop, Fay Ellis (deceased), Floyd Greene, Taunna Rose, and Linda Peterson.

A viewing will be Held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 with services following at 2:00 at his home ward 4855 S. 300 W. Washington Terrace, Utah, 84404.

Interment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park
